The Project

Schneider Electric turned to ICO Energy and Engineering for Commissioning Services on their newly occupied, 240,000 square foot North American headquarters in Andover, Massachusetts. The assignment included implementation of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, and covered the use of chilled beam technology throughout a mix of environments, including office, training, lab, testing, commercial kitchen, and assembly space.

The chilled beam technology—along with all major equipment and systems—was tested to verify operation and satisfaction of design intent, to eliminate odor and noise issues, and to integrate energy optimization opportunities.
