The Client

ICO Energy and Engineering provided LEED v3 Fundamental and Enhanced Commissioning services for the 44-story residential tower at 35 Lomasney Way located in the West End of Boston, MA. The 536,000 square feet building consists of 470 residential units along with 367,000 square feet of below-grade parking. Construction began in 2018 with Phase 1 completed in September of 2021. Subsequent floors were finished and turned-over until full occupancy in December 2021.

The Project

 

ICO commissioned the MEP equipment including a two-zone condenser water heat pump system, cooling towers, and gas-fired condensing boilers. Other equipment included energy recovery units for outdoor air requirements and conditioning of amenity and corridor spaces, life-safety generator, exhaust fans, residential heat pumps, parking garage gas-detection system, and the domestic hot water system.
